During the period of Lent this year as we focus on the love and sacrifice of Jesus we are offering the opportunity consider, pray for and provide for homeless people.  The idea is similar to the Christmas boxes.  Over the period of Lent, think about the needs of those who are homeless and add items into a box that can be passed on at Easter through the Hull Homeless Community Project.

As you build the box, pray for the  the person you are providing for.

Each box will be given to one homeless person so should include a range of items, such as:

Toiletries

Notepad and Pen

Socks

Underwear

Chapstick

Sanitary Products

Hand wipes

Comb/Hairbrush

Sweets

Mints

Biscuits

Cereal Bars

Refillable water bottle

Nail clippers

Chocolate!

We will be ordering some Easter message booklets to add into the boxes.   Boxes can be brought to church on Easter Sunday.
