All Saints' Church, South Cave

Services

We have a range of services covering traditional and informal worship styles as shown below.   Children are very welcome in all of our services.   If you are new to church, or just new to our church we want you to feel at home and relaxed.   You will find us to be a friendly bunch of ordinary people who love Jesus.

1st Sunday

9.30 a.m. – Bubble Church, our service for little ones and their families, in the ASCC. Coffee and pastries served from 9.15 a.m.

10:45 a.m. – Informal Worship in the church planned and led by a lay team with the word being delivered by clergy, local preacher or lay preacher.   The aim of the service is to be spirit-led, charismatic and creative but never to be intimidating.   The focus is on our personal relationship with God.  Drinks are served from 10.15 a.m. in church.   At the end of the service during final worship section, prayer ministry is held at the back of the church for those who would like individual prayer for themselves or others.

2nd Sunday

10:45 a.m. – Traditional Parish Communion following the lectionary theme with Services of the Word from Common Worship.   Hymns are accompanied by our organist.   We offer healing ministry at the communion rail.

3rd Sunday

8.00 a.m. – BCP Holy Communion.   A quiet reflective service with communion.

10:45 a.m. – Cafe Church in the ASCC.  An informal service including discussion over hot drinks and croissants.  Typically we have a time of sharing good news, followed by contemporary worship, the word, table discussion and prayer.

4th Sunday

10:45 a.m. – Methodist Service.  As an ecumenical partnership we enjoy a Methodist service each month led by a Methodist preacher.  Worship is typically hymns accompanied by our organist.

5th Sunday

10:45 a.m. – Morning Worship.   The format is usually traditional liturgy but can vary and will  sometimes be Songs of Praise style built around songs that are meaningful to members of the congregation.
